Unite for Europe in London on Saturday March 25th

Theresa May and her Government are rushing us headlong out of Europe. It is time for Liberal Democrats to make a stand and make the case for maintaining the closest possible ties with the European Union and ensuring that the three million European nationals currently living in the UK feel welcome here.

There will be a "Unite For Europe" national march on parliament to show support for the European Union on Saturday 25 March. Liberal Democrats are supporting this march and there will be a large Liberal Democrat contingent meeting at Marble Arch at 10am.

It seems that Southern Rail has bus replacement services on that day so you might find transport difficult unless join us and come to London in a Big Lemon Bus hired specially for the occasion. We am travelling with a collection of people from various pro-EU organisations based in Brighton and Hove and there are still 10 spaces left if you'd like to join us. You can reserve your space online (£15 for adults and £5 for children).

Those with pre-booked tickets can meet us at 8:45 at the foot of the Level across from St Peter's Church for a group photo. If you book - more information will be forthcoming and I think we depart from London around 4pm. Although not everyone sharing the coach will be Liberal Democrats, we will have banners, stickers, and t-shirts for those who want them.

If you cannot make the March and have any ideas on how we can support closer ties with the European Union - please let us know.
