About Your Constituency
The Brighton & Kemptown Constituency came into its current form in 2024 when it elected its first MP. Previously it was just known as Brighton Kemptown.
The constituency extends from Steine Gardens and Lewes Road on its western side to Peacehaven on its eastern side. It encompasses, Kemptown, Moulscoomb, Bevendean, Whitehawk, Brighton Marina, Woodingdean, Ovingdean,Rottingdean, Telscombe, Saltdean and Peacehaven and is the largest City constituency by area. It has large tracts of open spaces and extends into the South Downs National Park. With its long coastline it contains the coastal route the A259 that goes all the way to Folkstone in the east and Havant in the west.
The Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven Constituency candidate at the last General Election in July 2024 was Stewart Stone.
