Mouslecoomb & Bevendean Ward is the home of the American Express Community Stadium, which is in turn the home ground for Brighton & Hove Albion FC, a Premier League team.

It is also home to the University of Brighton's Falmer Campus and The Keep (a home for all the archives and historical records of East Sussex and Brighton & Hove and the special collections of the University of Sussex).

It is on the East Coast Railway line and has Falmer Station as its very own connection point to the rest of Britain's Railway Network. It nestles against the Brighton & Hove Bypass giving dual carriage way access to the UK motorway network.

The countryside walk from Bevendean (Heath Hill Avenue) leads past Hog's Trough Bottom up to Falmer Hill (163 metres), affording a magnificent view over the ward and towards Stanmer and the South Downs National Park before winding its way down to the village of Falmer.
