Andrew England

Andrew is a retired chemistry teacher who has lived in Goldsmid ward for thirty years. He is married to Paula and they have three school-aged children - José, Ignacia and Belén, who all play football for Hollingbury Hawks, so he is, a football fan. Andrew is a keen cricket supporter and was the organiser for Sussex girls' cricket teams for ten years as well as being a Junior England selector.

Andrew's priorities on the council are to improve school facilities, the local environment, parks, children's playgrounds, public conveniences and to repair dangerous pavements.

Paul Chandler

Paul is a founder member of the Liberal Democrats. He has stood for Parliament on several occasions, has had experience as a local councillor for over ten years and as a governor of several schools.

Paul has run his own travel agency business and is currently involved in a property venture. He has also worked as a volunteer at the Citizen's Advice Bureau and in one of the city's soup kitchens. Paul is currently a Director of the Brighton and Hove Community Land Trust.
